Trips & surroundings of the Hotel

… Graz – (almost) too beautiful for a short holiday.

Graz, the capital of the “Green Heart of Austria” is located in the south on the beautiful Mur River and has everything to offer that the heart desires.

The Hotel Ramada Graz is located on the outskirts of the city and is therefore the perfect starting point, whether you want to go sightseeing in the city or prefer to enjoy nature along the South Styrian Wine Route.

Culture

Cultural delights, unique old town flair, architectural masterpieces, culinary delights as well as the impressive landscape itself characterise the city.
Graz offers its visitors a cultural programme that is as varied as it is sophisticated. Along with Berlin, Montreal and Buenos Aires, the provincial capital is one of the ten “Cities of Design” chosen by UNESCO. Masterpieces like the Kunsthaus with its unique “bubble roof” and the Murinsel, a floating platform, must be seen. For those who want to view Graz from above, the Schlossberg offers the perfect view over the city’s rooftops.

Sports

All sports enthusiasts will get their money’s worth with us. No matter what kind of sport you like to do, you are sure to find the right offer here. On the one hand, the Hotel Ramada Graz is located directly at the Schwarzlsee, on the other hand, a jogging and fitness path, as well as the popular Mur cycle path lead practically directly past the hotel. Winter sports lovers can easily reach the nearby skiing area in less than half an hour by bus or their own car.

Schwarzlsee Leisure Centre

The island in the south has a lot to offer. From events of all kinds, a varied gastronomy to an extensive range of sports. In addition to diving, sailing and surfing courses, adventurous people can try wakeboarding or tandem jumping and “fly” over the Schwarzlsee on Europe’s longest guerrilla slide. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can circumnavigate the lake on a pedal boat or simply relax in the sun and enjoy the cool water. Take a look at what else the Schwarzl Leisure Centre has to offer.
Access to the leisure centre is free of charge for guests of the Hotel Ramada Graz for the duration of their stay.

Mur Cycle Path

Ideal for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, the Hotel Ramada Graz is only 6 km away from the start of the Mur cycle path. This extends over a length of 457.7 km and offers a variety of culinary experiences as well as pure enjoyment of nature. You can explore the pleasure capital of 2003, Graz, or cycle south into Styrian Tuscany. The excursion destinations are as rich in contrast as the tour itself. Culture lovers benefit from the rich offer in the capital itself.
