Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website www.ramada-graz.at.

Contact with us

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that the following data will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the contract:
Name and address, contact person, email address and telephone number.
The data provided by you are required for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual and contractual measures. No data is transferred to third parties, with the exception of our tax advisor for the fulfilment of our obligations under tax law.
In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art 6 Para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfilment of the contract) of the DSGVO.

SSL/TLS encryption

In order to protect your transmitted data as best as possible, we as website operator use SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise such encrypted connections by the prefix “https://” in the address line of your browser. Unencrypted connections are marked by “http://”. You can also recognise a secure connection by the green, closed lock next to the Internet address.
All data that you transmit to this website – for example, when making enquiries or logging in – cannot be read by third parties thanks to SSL/TLS encryption.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.
If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Access data

The website operator or page provider collects data on accesses to the page and stores these as “server log files”. The following data is logged in this way:

  • Visited website
  • Time at the time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/reference from which you reached the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used

The data collected is only used for statistical evaluations and to improve the website. However, the website operator reserves the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.

Google AdWords conversion tracking

This website uses the “Google AdWords Conversion Tracking” function of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). Google AdWords Conversion Tracking uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site when they click on a Google ad. The cookies are valid for a maximum of 90 days. Personal data is not stored in the process. As long as the cookie is valid, Google and we as the website operator can recognise that you have clicked on an ad and have reached a specific target page (e.g. order confirmation page, newsletter registration). These cookies cannot be tracked across multiple websites by different AdWords participants. The cookie creates conversion statistics in “Google AdWords”. These statistics record the number of users who have clicked on one of our ads. In addition, it is counted how many users have reached a target page that has been provided with a “conversion tag”. However, the statistics do not contain any data with which you can be identified.

Google Analytics

This website uses the “Google Analytics” service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyse website usage by users. The service uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymisation is used on this website. The IP address of the user is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. Under the terms of the data sharing agreement between the website operators and Google Inc., Google Inc. uses the information collected to evaluate website usage and activity and to provide services relating to internet usage.

You have the option of preventing the cookie from being stored on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. It is not guaranteed that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

Browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics

Furthermore, you can use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to and used by Google Inc. The following link will take you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Alternatively, you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you within this website by clicking on the following link.

Click here to deactivate Google Analytics

By clicking on the above link you will download an “Opt-Out-Cookie”, you will not be redirected to an external page. Your browser must therefore allow cookies to be stored. If you delete your cookies regularly, you will need to click on the link again each time you visit this website.

Here you will find further information on the use of data by Google Inc.: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract for commissioned data processing with the provider.

Use of social media plugins

This website uses Facebook social plugins, which are operated by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). The integrations are recognisable by the Facebook logo or the terms “Like”, “Like”, “Share” in Facebook’s colours (blue and white). Information on all Facebook plugins can be found in the following link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

The plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. The website operator has no influence whatsoever on the nature and scope of the data that the plugin transmits to the servers of Facebook Inc. Information on this can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084

The plugin informs Facebook Inc. that the user has visited this website. There is a possibility that your IP address will be stored. If you are logged into your Facebook account during your visit to this website, the aforementioned information will be linked to it.

If you use the functions of the plugin – for example by sharing or “liking” a post – the corresponding information will also be transmitted to Facebook Inc.
If you would like to prevent Facebook. Inc. linking this data to your Facebook account, please log out of Facebook before visiting this website.
The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, in the case of the USA “Privacy Shield”.

Your rights

You are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
